Sam is the only kid on his street…until Madison, Nick, and Isabel move in!

Madison, adopted from Wisconsin, is creative, Nick, adopted from Russia, is full of energy, and Isabel, adopted from Guatemala as an older child, gets them all organized. Everything’s perfect until the friends decide to form a club for kids like them - children who are adopted. Only problem is that Sam isn’t adopted! He feels left out.

Quantity

What a cute book! I think it will give our adopted kids a chance to be Nick, Isabel and Madison and not be the "different ones" for a change. I also like that when I read it to my son he realizes that there are other kids who are adopted; he's not the only one. I love that the adopted kids all understand their stories and share the process with Sam, who doesn't know the process. I think this would even be a good story to ready to a bio child whose family is adopting - the process is in simple terms that a child can relate to. That will also help us when we are explaining to our son his story.

The Forever Friends Club is very well written and the illustrations were adorable. I have a 2yr foster child and I love to read to her. This book will be perfect for her when she is older to help her understand adoption a little better and let her know she is wanted and belongs no matter how she came to us. Well Done!
